In t...I'm a pool player, so I liked the theme. In the U.S.A we use the term "English" to denote putting spin on the cue ball. The English were the first to put a leather tip on the end of the wood cue stick and to use chalk on the tip. This provided way more friction between the cue tip and the cue ball, making it possible to hit the cue ball off-center (See PG's diagram) and give it spin without the tip glancing off or miscuing.<br /><br />Ironically, the English call it "putting side" on the cue ball.<br /><br />The fill is less than stellar. With 42(!) black squares, there's gonna be a lot of 3's and 4's.
